My name is Aurora and I am very satisfied with the work from attorney Linh Tran-Layton. She processed my immigration matter/case, and resolved my issue fast. Now, I am legally in the U.S.

During the arduous process of immigration, Linh was there for me and my husband. We began the process of immigration in February of 2016; however, I began my discussions with Linh almost 2 years before that. I had many questions and concerns. I was a visa overstay and I was weighing the odds between leaving everything as the status quo or bringing my status up-to-date. Events towards the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016 pushed me to deciding to pursue the marriage based green card option. I had been living with my partner for 6 years by January of 2016 and we were engaged. We married in February and thus began, in earnest, the process. Linh, at all times was professional, I would call with concerns and she would take the call at a moments notice and help to alleviate stress. I would set up meetings with very little notice and again, she was always professional, knowledgeable, and quite smart. I cannot speak highly enough of the calming influence of Linh and her firm. They all understand the immense pressure and stress under which you are suffering and they are there to alleviate as much of that stress as they can. Linh was able to answer all of my questions. She would research odd situations that were part of my case for immigration and come back to me with compelling answers and the correct way to proceed. I cannot underestimate my level of stress during the months of April-August. My stress prevented me from sleeping, but Linh helped by providing a reassuring and calm demeanor in the face of everything me and my husband were facing. On August 30th I had my interview for the green card marriage based and was approved and 10 days later I received the green card in the mail. I owe the success of this case to Linh and her firm, without them, I would have floundered. An attorney is absolutely necessary with immigration cases. There are too many obstacles and pitfalls one must tackle and doing so alone could spell disaster for your case. Do not tackle it on your own. Seek the advice of an experienced and knowledgeable attorney like Linh who will guide you every step of the way. I thank you, my husband thanks you. I like my lawyer Linh, who’s very friendly and knowledgeable. She was fast answering all my questions and was there for our interview. The reason I didn’t give 5 star is because I don’t feel her assistant or the receptionists are professional and really care about my case. I never received any reminders regarding renewal of the work permit or the medical exam until I asked my lawyer. My green card was arrived to their office and stayed there for a whole week but I wasn’t contacted. The receptionist claimed that she called and left a voice message but I didn’t see any. She also said she received it later last week but the usps tracking website clearly shows that the card was received on Monday morning. It is not a huge deal but I definitely think there are things that they can improve.

Was there to help us along the way; even though we dragged out the chapter 7 case further then it should have taken for lack of funds, in my opinion. Several things could have sped it up. Helped with questions and continued to process the case a quickly as possible. I personally would recommend to anyone that I know be in need of an extremely good lawyer to handle his or her case.

The professionalism and the speed at which this law group was able to process my wife’s green card truly exceeded all expectations. I am currently a full-time working college student, and though I’m certainly not rolling in money at the moment, I still feel that the lawyer fees were very reasonable (and well worth their value!).
