During the arduous process of immigration, Linh was there for me and my husband. We began the process of immigration in February of 2016; however, I began my discussions with Linh almost 2 years before that. I had many questions and concerns. I was a visa overstay and I was weighing the odds between leaving everything as the status quo or bringing my status up-to-date. Events towards the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016 pushed me to deciding to pursue the marriage based green card option. I had been living with my partner for 6 years by January of 2016 and we were engaged. We married in February and thus began, in earnest, the process. Linh, at all times was professional, I would call with concerns and she would take the call at a moments notice and help to alleviate stress. I would set up meetings with very little notice and again, she was always professional, knowledgeable, and quite smart. I cannot speak highly enough of the calming influence of Linh and her firm. She would research odd situations that were part of my case for immigration and come back to me with compelling answers and the correct way to proceed. I cannot underestimate my level of stress during the months of April-August. My stress prevented me from sleeping, but Linh helped by providing a reassuring and calm demeanor in the face of everything me and my husband were facing. On August 30th I had my interview for the green card marriage based and was approved and 10 days later I received the green card in the mail. I owe the success of this case to Linh and her firm, without them, I would have floundered. An attorney is absolutely necessary with immigration cases.
